Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Where is Strawberry Fields Glamping located? We are at Birchin Inhams Farm, Heathlands Road, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 3AP. You will be able to find us on Google maps.

  • What are my transport options? We’re close to main road, rail and air links. Please look at our location. If travelling by car there is parking next to the glamping field.

  • What are my options if I needed to take a taxi? You can call one of these https://threebestrated.co.uk/taxis-in-wokingham  Alternatively, any local taxi firm in Wokingham will be able to pick up/ drop off to the site.

  • Do you have a map of the site? Yes, please look at our site map here.

 

COVID-19:

​

  • What measures will be in place at Strawberry Fields? Your health and safety is our number one priority. We will continue to apply additional cleaning processes. However there will be no need to socially distance onsite and masks are not required, although we respect that some guests may want to continue wearing them.

  • What if I contract COVID-19 in the lead up to my stay? Please familiarise yourself with the current government guidelines should you/ someone in your group contract COVID-19 in the lead up to your stay. Please refer to your booking site terms and conditions page to understand what our process is if you want to cancel your stay.

  • Can I park my car by my tent? No. For safety reasons we ask you to park your cars in the designated parking area and move your belongings on foot. The car park is just 50m from the tents!

  • Is there a safe where I can store valuables? No. Please either avoid bringing valuables, if you must bring them, we recommend leaving them in your car rather than taking them with you to your tent (all at your own risk).

  • Can my dog sleep in my tent? We are a dog friendly site,  but rather than ask for a fee for additional cleaning we do ask for a £10 contribution to the Dog Trouble Foundation, our dog rescue. They may sleep in your tent, but please bring a dog bed for them and ensure that they do not urinate on the tents! Please also ensure to walk them on lead on the farm, pick up after them and be respectful that other guests will be residing at the site. No other pets are allowed.

 

OUR SHOWER ROOMS:

  • What are the bathrooms like? There is 1 unit, with 2 showers and 2 toilets.  They are not far from your tents (the closest tent is around 30 metres from the bathrooms and the furthest is around 100 metres away, so not far at all).

  • Will we have to share bathrooms? Yes. As we have 5 tents, you may find yourself sharing facilities, but we have them thoroughly cleaned daily.

  • What is included in the bathrooms? There is liquid soap, hand towels and toilet roll. There is a small bin in each bathroom, but please dispose of nappies in one of our outdoor bins.

  • Do I need to bring towels and toiletries? Yes. Please bring your own towels and your own toiletries (please keep them with you – do not leave any belongings in the bathroom).

  • Is there electricity in the bathrooms? Everything is solar powered.

  • Are there disabled toilet facilities? Our toilets are in a converted horsebox, so we do not have wheelchair accessible toilet or shower facilities currently. Caution must be taken whilst walking up the slight ramp on the horsebox

  • Please note that we do not have baby changing facilities.

 

FOOD AND DRINK

  • Can I BBQ or light a fire? Yes, There is a communal BBQ and fire pit.

  • Do I need to bring charcoal & wood? No. The BBQ is gas bottle and there will be wood for the communal Fire pit available.  There are disposable barbecues available for purchase which can be used on your individual barbecue area by your tent.  We provide matches, firelighters, and utensils for the communal BBQ and Firepit but do ask that you clean the BBQ after use. If there is a private fire pit available for your stay, we will supply the first bag of wood and pack of firelighters, but you will need to purchase additional supplies from our shop.

  • Can I get groceries or takeaway food delivered? Yes, you can but you will need to meet deliveries at the farm entrance off the main road as they will not find you!

  • Are there any pubs nearby? Yes, there are two within walking distance. The Crooked Billet, Honey Hill about 10  minutes’ walk from the glamping field, with good food, a beer garden and dog friendly. There is also the Golden Retriever, Nine Mile Ride which is a 5 minute drive.

  • What about alcohol on-site? Please bring your own but you must be over the age of 18 to drink alcohol on site. Please remember we are a family friendly site so drink sensibly. You may choose to bring your own reusable/unbreakable wine/pint glasses. Remember, ice is not provided on site.

  • What about washing-up and cleaning? We have a covered sink area where you can wash any dishes cups and utensils. Please also wipe down any surfaces after use. There will be cleaning spray supplied.

 

EXTRA SUPPORT

  • What if I need help out of hours? A member of our team will be on-site from 9am until 8pm. After hours, in case of emergency, please call 999 or 111. Or call our site phone on 07793557570/07919400920 if you urgently need our team out of hours.

  • Please remember, the person making the booking is responsible for reading our full Terms and Conditions here. If you're making a group booking you are responsible for making sure the whole group is aware of them too.
